Flowers and farming are big businesses. You'll see huge fields of artichokes and pumpkins up and down the coast. Of course, there is our annual Pumpkin Festival, which attracts national attention with our Giant Gourds topping 2,300 pounds.
For the golfer, there are two challenging courses on the ocean.
For the car and airplane enthusiasts there's our Dream Machines Festival with classic cars and planes plus music and fun activities for the kids at HMB Airport.
And if you like surfing, there's the world famous Mavericks beach, where waves rise as high as 30 feet in the winter.
